This product contains 0.5% retinol, a small enough amount to avoid dryness and irritation but a powerful enough amount to really show progress in the skin.
How do you use the Jan Marini Retinol Plus?
We recommend applying the Jan Marini Age Intervention Retinol Plus every couple of days as your skin gets used to the formulation. If you have sensitive skin we recommend doing a patch test before adding the product to your routine. Once your skin is used to the formula, we recommend using the product every other day as part of your evening skincare routine for best results.
Will the Jan Marini Retinol Plus help with acne?
Yes! Retinol is great for acne because it helps exfoliate the skin and increase cell turnover, preventing pores from getting clogged with dirt, oil and dead skin cells.
Can I use the Jan Marini Retinol Plus if I have dry, sensitive skin?
How your skin responds to the Jan Marini Retinol Plus will vary. We recommend doing a patch test to find out if the product causes increased sensitivity or dryness. However, you can prevent dryness and irritation from occurring by sandwiching your retinoid products in between two layers of moisturizer to provide extra nourishment.
